We have established a new platform inviting individuals and voluntary teams who are passionate to contribute to the society and serve the needy to join us in organizing charitable activities. We hope our platform can optimize resources available by creating synergy of different talents, sparing volunteers from the hassles of administrative work so that they can focus on services provided.
Love Charity
Love Charity is a branch of U-Hearts formed by a group of passionate volunteers who aspire to provide assistance to local low-income families & elderlies as well as improving education condition of poor mountainous areas in mainland China.
Service Scope:
Our volunteer, and a talented home chef, Joey first initiated monthly fund-raising feasts at his home in 2015. Each guest makes a donation of HKD800 or above for the dinner, while all foods costs are borne by Joey and other founding members of Love & Dine, all proceedings go to designated charity projects of U-Hearts.
Over the past few years, the group has raised nearly HKD400,000 funding U-Hearts projects such as subsidizing orphans in Jingchuan, Gansu and U-Talks, as well as projects of other local charities (e.g. New Home Association, The Community Chest and Bridge Foundations) helping grassroot families and SEN students in Hong Kong.
Formed by hairstylist Longsa and his team of professional hairstylists, HCCG serves the community with their expertise by offering free haircut to service elderly and lower income families, over 10,000 persons have been benefitted from their service since 2013. In recent years, HCCG has expanded its service to paying home visits to lower income families.
In 2019, HCCG has become a partnering organization of U-Hearts, co-organizing different activities such as “Haircut 4 U” to bring love and caring to the needy elderly and lower income families.
